Looking for Normal by Jane Anderson In this 2002 play, Jane Anderson tells the story of Roy who is a father, husband, factory worker and active church member who makes the bold decision to "adjust my body to be my true self"-- a woman. As Roy moves forward on this personal journey to becoming Ruth, family dynamics are tested. This uplifting play explores the complexities of marriage, family, identity and deconstructs the very notion of love. This play has adult themes and language.
